Regulation is more than a wellness studio—it’s a space for nervous system care, creative expression, and real human connection. We’re building a community where people feel safe to move, rest, make art, and just be.

We’re looking for folks who care deeply, show up authentically, and believe that healing can be joyful, weird, and wildly accessible. If you’re passionate about movement, mindfulness, sound, breath, or simply holding space for others—we’d love to meet you.

We’ll heavily market all classes on social media and beyond! Expect support through our Instagram, Facebook, flyers, and community outreach to get students in the door. We want this class to succeed, and we’ll put in the effort to make sure people know about it!

Shuffle Dance Teacher (Part-Time)

Location: Regulation – Columbia, MO
Position Type: Part-Time / Contract

About the Role:
Regulation is looking for an energetic and skilled Shuffle Dance Teacher to lead a fun, engaging class for adults! If you love TikTok-style shuffle dancing, have a passion for movement, and enjoy teaching, this is a great opportunity to share your skills with a welcoming, inclusive community.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who knows how to shuffle dance (formal teaching experience is great but not required!)
  • Comfortable breaking down moves for beginners and teaching at a fun, relaxed pace
  • High-energy and encouraging – this class is about confidence, rhythm, and having fun
  • Reliable and able to commit to a weekly or biweekly class schedule

This class is about joy, confidence, and movement—no pressure, no perfectionism, just fun. Whether you’ve been making dance content on TikTok or just love breaking down moves for friends, we want someone who can keep it fresh, fun, and accessible for all levels.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone obsessed with TikTok dance trends and ready to teach them in an inclusive, judgment-free space
  • Comfortable breaking down routines so beginners feel successful while keeping things exciting for all levels
  • High-energy, engaging, and great at getting people hyped and feeling confident

TikTok trends move fast—some last weeks, some months. We’re open to:

  • A biweekly or monthly class where people can really master 1-2 dances

Hula Hoop Dance & Glow Hooping Teacher (Part-Time)

About the Role:
Regulation is looking for an engaging and creative Hula Hoop Instructor to lead adult hoop dance classes! This includes everything from hoop fitness to flow arts, with a special focus on evening glow hooping sessions.

We’d love to offer glow hooping with LED hoops, but we want input on the best options! If you have experience with different types of hoops (weighted, travel, LED, etc.), we want to make sure we’re getting equipment that works well for students.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone skilled in hula hoop dance & tricks
  • Comfortable teaching beginners & intermediate students
  • Excited about glow hooping & nighttime hoop sessions
  • Able to teach a mix of choreographed moves & free-flow techniques
  • Interested in building a hooping community & possibly organizing showcases

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead 45- to 60-minute classes focused on hoop dance & movement flow
  • Teach glow hooping sessions in the evening (Regulation will work toward LED hoops!)

About the Role:
Regulation is seeking a skilled and creative craft instructor to lead adult craft classes! We’re looking for people who love hands-on, engaging craft projects that let participants unwind, socialize, and create something beautiful.

We’re open to a variety of craft styles, including:

  • Collage & mixed media
  • Upcycled crafts
  • Jewelry making
  • Fiber arts (knitting, weaving, embroidery)
  • Woodburning, printmaking, or other DIY projects

Teach just once or as often as you like! We welcome one-time workshop instructors as well as those interested in ongoing classes.

We welcome a variety of kid-friendly craft styles, from painting and collage to nature-based crafts and sensory play. If you love working with kids and making art accessible, we want to hear from you!

  • Someone with experience in arts & crafts (teaching background is a plus, but not required!)

Regulation is seeking experienced, creative, and calming meditation teachers to lead guided meditation sessions. We welcome a variety of meditation styles, including:

  • Mindfulness & breath awareness
  • Nature-based or earth-centered meditation
  • Sound-based meditation (toning, mantra, or instruments)
  • Visualization & journey meditation
  • Active meditation (dynamic, dance, or breath-focused)
  • Spiritual or somatic meditation techniques

If you have a unique way of guiding people into deep presence and relaxation, we want to create space for you to share your practice.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with experience leading guided meditations (formal training is great but not required!)
  • Comfortable holding space for individuals and groups
  • Able to adapt to different experience levels, from beginners to seasoned meditators
  • Open to collaborating with breathwork, sound, or movement teachers if interested

Event Assistant (Part-Time, On-Call Basis)

About the Role:
Regulation is looking for reliable, flexible Event Assistants to help with larger events like sound baths, ecstatic dance, kids’ classes, and community gatherings. This is an on-call, as-needed position—perfect for someone who enjoys helping bring events to life without a set weekly schedule.

You’ll be part of creating smooth, welcoming, and well-run events, handling setup, teardown, guest check-in, and general event support. You may also help with photos & video, ensuring we capture the magic of each event.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone reliable & punctual who can commit to helping at specific events
  • Comfortable assisting with setup & teardown (moving chairs, setting up sound, adjusting lighting, etc.)
  • Friendly & welcoming—able to greet guests, check people in, and answer questions
  • Capable of taking event photos/videos (a plus, but not required)
  • Open to helping with whatever is needed in the moment—this role will be varied!

What You’ll Do:

  • Check in guests, manage the guest list, and help with door logistics
  • Assist with event setup & teardown (arranging space, setting up equipment, etc.)
  • Capture event photos & short videos for social media (if comfortable)
  • Support facilitators and attendees—answering questions, directing guests, helping where needed

Class Assistant (Work-Trade / Barter Position)

About the Role:
Regulation is seeking reliable, organized Class Assistants to help with the smooth running of classes in exchange for free class participation. This is a great opportunity for community members who want to attend more classes while helping out behind the scenes.

Class Assistants handle opening and closing duties, checking students in, and light cleanup so teachers can focus fully on leading their class.

Work-Trade Structure:

  • Assist with a specific class each week and take that class for free.
  • If an assistant can’t attend one week, they may bank the credit for later use.
  • Long-term participation is preferred to help create a stable, supportive class environment.
  • Consistency helps build a strong community, but some flexibility is available if needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Reliable & punctual—able to commit to a specific class each week
  • Friendly & welcoming—comfortable checking people in & answering basic questions
  • Organized—able to handle guest lists, class passes, and light cleanup
  • Trustworthy—this role involves opening & closing duties

Regulation is looking for a fun, energetic, and engaging Kids’ Dance Party Host to run our high-energy dance events for kids ages 3-10. This person will lead movement, keep kids engaged, and create a joyful, playful atmosphere.

  • Personable, high-energy individual who loves working with kids

Regulation is looking for a passionate, patient, and skilled flow artist to teach Poi spinning in a fun, accessible, and welcoming space. Whether you’ve been spinning poi for years or just love sharing your skills, this is an opportunity to introduce people to the joy of flow arts—with an emphasis on low-pressure learning, playfulness, and movement exploration.

This class will start with poi (since it’s easy to pick up with inexpensive gear), and we’re excited to make flow arts more accessible to more people!

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with experience spinning poi (formal teaching background is great but not required!)

Regulation is looking for one or more facilitators to lead community-based vocal experiences, including song circles, bhakti/kirtan chanting, vocal toning, and other sound-based meditative practices.

This offering is about using the voice as a tool for connection, healing, and self-expression—not about performance or perfection. We welcome a range of styles, including:

  • Bhakti yoga & kirtan-style chanting
  • Vocal toning, sound healing & resonance work
  • Call-and-response singing & folk song traditions
  • Improvised group vocalization & sound weaving
  • Looping, droning, or layered harmonies

If you lead any of these or something similar, we’d love to create space for you!

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with experience leading or facilitating group singing, chanting, or vocal meditation
  • Comfortable with a participatory approach—this is about shared experience, not solo performance

Regulation is looking for a fun, skilled, and patient juggling instructor to introduce people to the art of juggling! Whether you specialize in balls, clubs, rings, or diabolo, we want someone who can make juggling accessible and fun for all levels—from total beginners to folks looking to level up.

Juggling is not just a skill—it’s a mind-body connection practice, a movement meditation, and a ridiculously fun challenge.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone skilled in juggling multiple props (balls, clubs, rings, etc.)
  • Comfortable teaching absolute beginners & building confidence
  • Able to break things down step-by-step and offer easy success points
  • Open to expanding into partner juggling, group tricks, or even showmanship
  • Interested in creating a relaxed, skill-sharing juggling community


What You’ll Do:

  • Teach a 45- to 60-minute class introducing students to juggling basics
  • Break down fundamentals (3-ball cascade, club passing, etc.) in a simple way
  • Make it fun!—this class is about play, not perfection
